LPN – White Rapids Manor

JOB PURPOSE:
As a member of an interdisciplinary team, the LPN plans, prioritizes and implements patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse; promotes residents’ self-care and appropriately assists with their activities of daily living; documents resident care, identifying and reporting pertinent information to the Registered Nurse. Performs other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Current registration with ANBLPN.
Current BCLS certification.
Graduate of an approved School for Licensed Practical Nurse.
Demonstrated skills working with geriatric clients an asset.
Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.
Written and spoken competence in English is required.
Good work record and ability to attend work on a regular basis.
Ability to perform the duties of the position.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with a variety of health care providers, including nurses, physicians, managers and staff from other disciplines.
